You’ve probably all heard about Radiohead’s little game of letting anyone remix their single, “Nude”, but this one takes it to a whole other level. James Houston played forced the tracks out of old and abused computer equipment (or at least sampled them).
He had this to say about the idea:
This was quite a difficult task for everybody that entered, as Nude is in 6/8 timing, and 63bpm… …I decided to take the piss a bit, as the contest seemed to be in that spirit.
