This $99 e-paper notepad from Noteslate looks promising. Their mantra is cheap, simple, and single purpose, and I can really get behind that. They claim it will be available in assorted colors (why not just black and white?!) later this year and they only provide hero shots like the one above, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it. If their save and retrieve UI is clean and simple and there is a hope in hell of an Evernote tie-in, I will be the first in line. You can find a little more teaser info on their website.

Do you still get excited when you come across your old RAYGUN magazines (the real ones, the David Carson years)? Well, Carson is starting up his own magazine. Here’s how they’re describing it:
